Hello October!

I know, I know, it’s already halfway through, but I can’t really believe how fast this year is going! All the days just seem to be flying by and I feel like I can’t really keep up with my ever growing to do list. Between the beginning of my final year at university, work and getting this little blog up and running (along with saving the house from destruction by a naughty puppy!), I’m already beginning to feel a little frazzled.

I’ve also always been one of those people who is more productive if I write a list and/or set myself  some goals, especially when my life gets super busy.

So, without further ado, here is a little list of things I plan on getting done this month.

  1. Write at least 2 blog posts a week. I have so many ideas written down in my blogging planning notebook, so I need to start sharing them with you all. Stay tuned for this one, folks!
  2. Get up with my alarm and become more of an earlybird. This one is already proving a challenge for me! I set my alarm for an early start almost every morning, I wake up and then spend too long scrolling social media – time which could be spent walking the dog with Felix, attempting yoga or even just planning the day ahead.
  3. Find a good skincare routine and actually stick to it. In case it wasn’t already obvious, I can be a very lazy girl, especially when it comes to taking care of myself. My commitment to any kind of beauty routine seems to go in cycles: I buy some new products, create a plan for every morning and evening, I keep it up for a week, and then I get lazy and stop doing it. Every. Goddamn. Time. So I’ve decided that this month should be the time when my skin finally gets some consistent lovin’!
  4. Get healthy. This is something I’ve actually been struggling with for the longest time, and I never seem to be able to strike a balance. So here’s to finally eating more healthily (cheeky fast food work lunches, looking at you!), getting moving and finally making the most of those yoga society classes I’ve signed up for!

So there you have it! Maybe in November I might update you guys with everything I’ve managed to achieve, but in the meantime: wish me luck…
